A former steel and military site covering almost 40 hectares, the Parc Novaciéries is the embodiment of an ambitious reconversion project in the heart of the region. Long closed to the public, this site, marked by two centuries of industrial history, has now become a place where people can meet and exchange ideas. dynamic eco-district, The new park combines an urban park, economic activities, leisure activities and housing.
At the heart of the project is a large-scale landscaped park, stretching for almost a kilometer, showcases the industrial remains that have been preserved: chimneys, pylons and old metal structures become real landmarks in the landscape.
Visit spotlighting, imagined and designed by Les Éclaireurs - lighting designers, reveals this industrial memory while supporting the site's new night-time uses.
We are proud to have contributed to the redevelopment of this site - all the more symbolic as it is located in the city where PROMIC - by providing optical components for architectural and landscape lighting. We worked closely with the lighting designers, helping them to implement their intentions in technical terms.
